While the art style is pretty well done and the music is quite pleasant, the game reeks of fake-deep. Your choices in the game give no effect and it all ends on some attempt at a meta plot twist that just doesn't really work. The game feels too short but at the same time repetitive. The character is so overdramatic through the entire game and you can't feel bad for him because you don't know him. Is he always like this? Why does it take so short of time for him to go into such a spiral of depression? Whether it was a take on today's sOcIeTy or whatever this game is, it just left me with the feeling Meh. I think that if the same team that made this made something with a different topic and did a little better writing, combining it with making the player's choices matter, it could be great. But hey, good design and really nice music.

I get your criticism, although the aim wasn't so much to be "deep" or plot twisty, it was more a way to express what we were feeling at that time and making a "conversation" in times of social isolation.
But again, I get your criticism, I do agree on some points, in others I think you missed it, but thanks for the feedback.

This is it. This is perfection. I'm glad I finally get to experience it.

But in all seriousness, this is wanted when I started going on Newgrounds. It's fun, it's unique, and it's got one hell of a soundtrack. Thanks for the masterpiece, keep rockin' on.

Man, this was pretty nice. Good storytelling. Just one thing, I'm kind of confused with the ending. I realize that SPOILERS the guy asked out the girl online and one of them signed off forever. But like my game ended with the conversation of someone saying "not to do that again" and I'm confused on what "that" was. Suicide attempt? Cruel joke of something? I don't know. Backtracking is a heavy element of this game - it works and it doesn't. Adding a map would be a very useful resource but it would eliminate the sense of forming the map in your head as you go, reminiscent of Legend of Zelda NES. Like I said, the story was nice, just confused on the way it was ended. It was very abrupt and it would have been nice to have one last cutscene further explaining the game's story and what had happened.
